Innocence of spirit knows no age
It’s the family celebrating Christmas
Your little girl’s teddy bear tea party
And “daddy taking us camping!”

Some people become adults
Hard-headed, lacking true feeling
But we’ll stay in never land forever
Facing every day with gleeful adventure

You can see the shining faces
Sharing smiles, the open-minds
Taking delight in ever act played
On life’s stage of continue miracles

Innocence of spirit knows no age
Holds such simple beauty
To welcome each coming day with
Bursts of enthusiasm, care, and love

What a rare and true gift
We are given to cherish
And learn from those who
Shine freely innocence of spirit
